Sue Sours. Sue is a software engineer, with over 16 years experience in development on Unix and Windows platforms. Past projects include development of a Windows NT based traffic information dissemination product at SmartRoute Systems (1996-1998), object-oriented and CORBA-based distributed systems at the BBN Technologies Division of GTE Internetworking (Genuity) (1991-1996), and network management systems at Data General (1987-89). She's the principal architect of SuperPage.com's content management system. She holds a BS in Applied Math/Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University (1987). She enjoys gardening and lives with her husband and two sons, Max and James Nicholas, our quality assurance trainees, in the Boston area. |
Rod Daynes. Rod is a designer involved in all phases of web development. He discovered Arpanet in the mid '70's, and at about the same time, he got his first personal computer. Since then, he's developed new media projects for a variety of clients, including 3M, the National Geographic Society, Apple, Houghton Mifflin, TASC, Sony Electronic Publishing, ITP, and others including WGBH (Nova) , and the National Science Foundation. He designed just about all of the pages on our client list. He was Co-Founder of multimedia start-ups Pacific Interactive and Interactive Technologies Corporation, and was Founder/Director of the Nebraska Videodisc Group at the University of Nebraska. He's extensively published and frequently asked to give presentations in the United States, Europe, and Japan. His web development platforms include HTML, cgi/Perl, ColdFusion (Allaire Certified), and numerous applications including Photoshop, Director, Flash, Soundedit, and various high end 3-D animation packages. He shares in US patent rights for a fundamental computer graphics overlay technology. His education includes an MA (Film, SDSU, '77), and a BFA (Painting, U of U, '72). He plays a mean guitar, and lives with his wife, two kids, and two dogs in the Boston area. |
Joan Bradee. Joan has over 20 years experience in development. While at Nortel Networks (1988-2000), she was a development manager in the IP Services group whose projects included developing a Web-based email system, a Stock Quote Server, Internet Paging. She also worked in the Digital Cellular group at Nortel Networks where she worked on the first live TDMA system. Previous to Nortel Networks, she worked for Alcatel developing telecommunications software for a telephone switch. She holds a B.S. in Computer Science/Chemistry from the University of Maryland (1982). She enjoys photography, swimming, and traveling with her husband and 3 daughters in Dallas, Texas.

Jim Yocum. Jim is a software engineer, originally specializing in artificial intelligence research and more recently specializing in user interface design and development. He has developed software in various platforms including : Macintosh, Windows95/98, NT and Unix. He is experienced with over a dozen programming languages, including C/C++, Java (Certified Java2 Programmer), Perl/CGI, VRML, and XML. Jim's 25+ years of experience also includes teaching graduate level computer science courses at Boston University for several years, and as a member of the technical staff at The Analytic Sciences Corporation (TASC), where he developed computer based systems for the United States intelligence community. At Digital Equipment Corporation (Cabletron), Jim led a team of software developers in the development of the "clearVISN Multi-Chasis Manager", a system used to manage the networking system for large customers including America Online. He has been actively involved with software development projects for both the Internet and its predecesor, Arpanet, since 1976. He holds a BSCS from the University of Utah, 1977.(Jim Clark, Founder Netscape; Alan Kay, XeroxPARC/Apple; Ed Catmull, ILM; and Evans & Sutherland are fellow UofU alums). He's also a pilot (helicopter enthusiast) and a marginal cellist. He, his wife and their Beagle live in the Boston area. |
Andrew deBlois. Andrew has extensive development and project leading experience. Recently he was lead architect at Traxit Technology for a web-service based project as well as networking project involving the tunneling of VoIP messages. Prior to this work, Andrew worked as a development consultant to General Electric, Compaq Corporation, Digital Equipment Corporation, and Clam Associates(Availant). Back in the early 80s Andrew started programming with General Electric Research & Development Center in Schdy, NY. After which he moved to Boston working for IBM and OSF. His education includes an MS from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a BS from The University of Michigan. Andrew lives with his wife and two kids in the Boston area. |
Eric Mauro. Eric works on graphics and animation at SuperPage.com. He has over ten years experience as a designer. Eric has worked with Superpage on the development of a Flash identity show for FNBI, as well as the animated series "Clicket the Cybermouse". Eric is a recognized innovator in this area, and his original character "Mr. Questionhead" has been featured on hotwired's animation express. He has also found favor in venues outside the web such as the Resfest digital animation show, the Aspen Films Shortsfest, and film festivals in Seoul and Montreal. Before joining Superpage, Eric was an independent animator as well as a designer and art director in the advertising and internet consulting arena. In addition to corporate and cartoon content, Eric is adept at designing appropriate animations for education and training, with experience illustrating cooking, use of construction materials and medical procedures. |
Scott Hersey. At SuperPage.com, Scott works in marketing and he writes ASP code. You name an Internet-related job and Scott has probably done it. He's been VP Marketing for two Boston-area Internet firms, Internetprovider Shore.Net (1996-2000) and content management specialist Bridgemedia Communications (2001). He's also been involved in web development since 1995, and created and managed large web sites for both Shore.Net and Bridgemedia, as well as many of their clients. He's also sold Internet services, developed new products, and been a community evangelist for the Internet around the North Shore. Scott started his Internet career as a web producer for New Jersey Online (1995), which was a natural culmination of his previous career as a journalist He's an alumnus of both Essex County Newspapers and North Shore Weeklies, and spent five years in Chicago working for the Daily Southtown as a feature writer and editor. When he's not behind his computer, Scott can usually be found hiking in the mountains (in Fall 2000 he took three months off to hike in Nepal and Tibet) or running around Salem, where he has lived since 1996. |
